Past Events- Third Annual Bring a friend to Church Day August 19th 2012

Maybe you or someone you know has thought about coming to church but just can’t quite get up the gumption to go. Well now’s your chance to encourage them to come.

Sunday August 19th  11:00am is a great time to bring a family member, friend, co-worker or neighbor to Cincinnati Community Church. We are confident they will see and feel the love of Christ through the congregation while hearing some great music and an inspirational message from the Bible.  Right after the church service everyone will receive a packed lunch and a ticket to the Reds game at GABP. We’ll have a chance to talk more during the game as we have a large section of seats reserved.  Then, right after the game enjoy a concert by Christian Artist Mercy Me.

It is our hope that this event may bring some people back into a relationship with Christ and reconnect them with His church. Tickets are limited.  Contact Gordon Doyle at info@cincycc.com  for availability and if you plan on bringing someone.

Past Events -Jesus Then and Now- July 1, 2012

“For to me to Live is Christ” is one of the most profound phrases in the Bible. To the Apostle Paul, Christ was his life and his living testified to the same.  His bold declaration seems to beckon all believers to re-examine their own lives and ask “What am I living for? Is Jesus real and experiential today or merely a historical event from the past?”

On Sunday July 1st Cincinnati Community Church will have a special church service entitled “Jesus Then and Now.” We’ll hear from several church members who will share their experiences of Jesus at work in their lives both in the past and present day. How encouraging to hear others testify that “To them, to live is Christ.” This really brings to life our current message series on Philippians.

When: Sunday July 1, 2012

Where: Cincinnati Community Church 3815 Woodbine Ave. Cincinnati Oh. 45211

Time: 11:00am – 12:15pm

Everyone Welcome- Child Care and Children’s Church provided.

Past Events- Community Connection 5K August 20th-Sept 2, 2011

We’re at it again. We just can’t help but get the word out about Jesus, especially knowing that so many people in and around our community do not know Jesus and are not involved in any church.  This year we’d like to again reach the doors of 5,000 of our neighbors with a simple invitation card to Cincinnati Community Church. We truly believe if people could attend a church service, hear God’s word, and see the love of God expressed through His many members, they would believe. The Event starts Saturday, August 20th from 9-11am. There will be six sessions up til Labor Day. Contact info@cincycc.org if you would like more information.

Past Events- Bring a Friend to Church/ Reds Event July 31st 2011

After the church gathering, tickets will be distributed and a free lunch and water provided for all who want to at to the Red’s game. Past Events”Keep On Keeping On” weekend – Nov. 13th-14th, 2010

Believing in Jesus. Coming back to church. Getting right with God. It is all a new beginning.  But after getting a good start, why is it so easy to end up on an exit ramp once again, headed down the wrong road?  Something has to stop the on-again off-again Christian life that wears out our morale.

Part 1 of this series can now be heard online. Just go to our Media tab, scroll through the messages until you find “Keep On Keeping On”. Then simple double click on the image. I believe you will be blessed by the ministry.

John Myer has been involved in full time ministry for over twenty years.  He is the founder and lead pastor of Grandview Christian Assembly, a non-denominational community church in Grandview Heights, Ohio.  John is also the author of several Christian books.

Dozens of children and their families attended Cincinnati Community Church’s Children’s Fall Festival on Sunday October 31st, 2010. There were plenty of creatively designed games, loads of candy, and fun for children of all ages. The newly redesigned children’s facility has a jungle look and feel that children just love.  Several members of CCC participated in hosting this event. In addition to some great candy, I believe both the children and their families got a taste of the love of Christ. Check out our Facebook connection to see more pictures from this event.

Past Events -“Blitz 5,000” August 29-September 26

Here at CCC there is a heart felt concern for the community surrounding the church. Many of our dear neighbors stay home on Sunday and are not active in any church. Possibly they have had a negative experience with church in the past or just don’t know where to begin a pursuit after God.   We feel attending just one church service with us will bring them to know the Love of Christ and draw them closer to God.

“Blitz 5000” was our mission to personally deliver 5000 invitations to the homes immediately surrounding the church. Those who participated in the event can testify of the joy they felt when people came to church as a result of the invitation. We hope this will just be the beginning of a life-long relationship they share with Jesus Christ.

Past Events- Faith Day – Sunday August 1, 2010

After an empowering message about the Love of Christ entitled “Have Life and Live” many of those in attendance at Cincinnati Community Church headed to Great American Ball Park. There they enjoyed a tasty sack lunch provided by the church and watched the Cincinnati Reds beat the Atlanta Braves. After the game Christian Music Artist Mercy Me performed an awe-inspiring concert to more than 20,000 in attendance. This was a memorable experience for all those who attended. Hope you can join us next year.

Past  Events- Westfest June 26-27,2010

Once a year the city of Cheviot hosts a huge street festival called Westfest. Harrison Ave. is shut down as vendors from all over Cincy’s Westside set up booths to provide entertainment through music, food, drink and games. The annual event usually draws upwards of 60,000 people.

Since Cincinnati Community Church is only 1 block away from all the festivities many people walk right past the church. We decided the Westfest venue and our strategic location provided us with a great opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ for the community. We set up tables outside the church and served free Hotdogs and ice-cold bottled water for everyone who passed by the church. This gave us a chance to meet and show some care for our neighbors. Some of the passer-bys sat down for a bite to eat and to chat. Many were just happy to receive some cold water as the heat that weekend soared above 90 degrees!  Not sure how many hotdogs we served but I know we handed out approximately 500 bottles of water! Jesus’ love was exhibited through the church- mission accomplished!
